Wearing a turban made of a navy blue shawl with gilded border falling over the left shoulder; white dress with gold embroidery at neckline and cuffs; gold belt under the bust with a large beaded leaf-shaped buckle. Legs covered with dark fabric finished at the top with a wide border with rich geometric and floral ornament. Right hand rests on lap holding a monocle on a chain; left hand embraces the figure of a reclining lion on a pedestal. Background: dark curtain with a figure in antique costume at right and a vase at left. Ca. 1816, Berlin. Portrait.
