Iconographic elements: omophorion, maphorion; inscriptions. Description: The icon is divided into two registers. The upper register shows a procession of saints led by the Mother of God, turning to Christ in the upper left corner. The lower register centers on Romanos the Melodos, Andrew the Yurodivy with Epiphanius, Proclus, and Emperor Leo depicted with hands folded on his chest. Colors are dominated by gilding, red, blue, and pink. The upper frame features an identifying inscription in cinnabar. Date: second half of the 19th century. Place: Russia. Medium: icon. Dimensions: height 17.5 cm, width 14.5 cm., A rectangular wooden panel with a worn, rough surface showing dark brown and black areas, with patches of lighter brown and some reddish-brown along the edges; the surface has visible scratches, scuffs, and areas of flaking or uneven texture, and the background around the panel is a pale gray.
