Narrow neck with reflected rim, elongated and flowing into sloping shoulders. Two cylindrical vices attached to the neck and shoulders. A hole for wine fermentation drilled in the neck. Interior impregnated with resin. Outer surface light brown and smooth; ribbed belly. Made of light brown alluvial clay Naqlun AC1C ceramic fabric, 5th–7th century, Naqlun findspot. Vessel amphora, height 56.6+ cm preserved, neck diameter 6.5 cm, body diameter 20.2 cm., A tall, elongated ceramic vessel with a tapered base and a narrow top, showing a rough, textured surface with horizontal ridges running along its body; the vessel is primarily terracotta in color with variations of light brown and beige, and it rests against a smooth gray background.
