Painted storage vessel, fragment of the upper part of a large storage vessel neck and upper body. Decoration painted in black and red on a creamy white underlay. Rim with a thick outward-protruding edge and concave outer surface. Upper part decorated with a row of horizontally running spirals with large red spots, enclosed in red horizontal stripes each bounded by black lines. Below, partially on the body, are figural representations: heads or fragments of male and female figures; the central head is surrounded by a halo. Spaces between heads filled with floral elements in the lower part and black dots in the upper part. Flanking heads wear headgear and have no haloes. Vessel made of Nile clay, medium porous N.B2. 6th century, Egypt. Vessel; external rim diameter 26 cm, height 31 cm., A fragmentary painted ceramic with worn surfaces showing a curved band shape and a partial face motif; the piece displays earthy beige as the base color with visible areas of red, black, brown, and some muted yellow, along with darker spots and faded painted outlines; the fragment edges are irregular and chipped, and the painted design includes rounded shapes, dotted clusters, curved stripes, and a pair of circular eye-like forms within a rectangular face-like area.
