Depicted frontally, a preserved fragment showing the head and left shoulder of the figure. The head is surrounded by a circular yellow halo outlined by a purple and white stripe. The contours of the face and features are painted with black paint. High forehead, regular eyebrow arches, large almond-shaped eyes, wide open, with marked irises and pupils; a straight nose ending in a wedge; large protruding right ear left ear missing. Long white beard ending in a pointed tip. On the white robe, the Greek letter eta H is visible on the figure's right shoulder. The folds of the robe are marked with wide yellow and purple lines. Original plaster: 82 x 36 cm; 8th century, Faras. Dimensions: 105 x 78.5 -79 x 4.5 cm; wall painting height 105 cm, width 78.5–79 cm, depth 4.5 cm; original plaster height 82 cm, width 62 cm., A weathered fragment of painted plaster with an irregular, roughly rectangular shape sits against a plain beige background; its surface shows a mottled mix of tan, beige, and light brown areas where the plaster has worn away, with traces of faded ochre and pale yellow pigments and several thin, curved accents in faded reddish-purple suggesting outlines; the fragment displays scattered patches of lighter, almost white paint and areas of exposed rough texture, with faint linear marks and rounded shapes across the surface and a few larger irregular areas where the original paint is missing.
