Oinochoe, Gnathia style; decoration: on the neck an engraved horizontal ivy sprig with white-painted heart-shaped leaves and flowers in the shape of pointed rosettes, and a second one extending downwards from it, placed centrally at the front; 2nd half of the 4th century BC, Apulia; oinochoe vessel; height 19.5 cm, width 13 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim, predominantly black in color with areas of worn, exposed lighter clay; a delicate vertical vine-like decoration in a pale color runs down from the neck with small heart-shaped and cluster-shaped leaf motifs; the rim shows chipped edges with a beige exposed layer and the base has a worn bead-like foot with patches of beige and darker paint; the surface of the vessel has a slightly glossy finish with scattered small chips and scratches revealing lighter tones beneath, and the background is a neutral light gray.
