Oinochoe, Gnathia style. Decoration: on the neck an engraved horizontal ivy sprig with white-painted heart-shaped leaves and flowers in the shape of pointed rosettes, and a second one extending downwards from it, placed centrally at the front. 2nd half of the 4th century BC, Apulia. Oinochoe vessel, height 19.5 cm, width 13 cm., A single tall ceramic jug with a rounded body, narrow neck, and flared irregular rim, shown against a plain light gray background; the jug is predominantly black with areas of surface wear revealing lighter brown and beige beneath, a curved handle attached from rim to shoulder with similar wear, a decorative band of small white floral or vine-like motifs encircling the neck, fine hairline cracks and scattered chips across the surface, and a worn beige and dark base that shows flakes of exposed clay.
