Aryballus lekythos, decoration: on the belly a winged Nike in right profile, dressed in a long chiton, holding with both hands a box with a basket beneath it; ca. 460–450 BC; Attica; lekythos vessel; height 13.3 cm, width 8 cm, rim diameter 4 cm, foot diameter 6.4 cm., A single handled ceramic vessel with a rounded body, a narrow neck, and a flared rim, showing worn surface areas. The vessel is predominantly black with patches of exposed clay in a tan or beige color where the surface has chipped. The handle is curved and also shows black surface with tan worn spots. The background is a plain light gray.
