Aryballus lekythos, decoration: on the belly a winged Nike in right profile, dressed in a long chiton, holding with both hands a box with a basket beneath on the ground; ca. 460–450 BC, Attica; lekythos vessel; height 13.3 cm, width 8 cm, rim diameter 4 cm, foot diameter 6.4 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and a flared rim sits upright against a plain light-gray background; the vessel is primarily black with areas of worn beige where the surface has chipped or been painted, showing a beige figurative shape on the front that resembles a winged figure in profile, along with additional beige accents near the base and rim; the neck and handle are black with beige wear marks, and the base shows concentric bands of black and beige.
