Aryballus lekythos, Reddish-brown clay with black, slightly shiny, well-covering varnish, also on the underside of the foot and inside the handles. Low echinus-shaped foot, spherical slightly flattened body; low narrow neck with a funnel-shaped rim with a thickened lip. Body decoration: bird in left profile with beak raised. Ceramics, red-figure pottery; Greek pottery, ancient vessel lekythos / aryballus. Southern Italy, 4th century BC 2nd half of the 4th century BC. Height 9.3 cm, width 7.6 cm., A dark rounded vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim, showing worn areas and patches where the surface is lighter; the vessel is primarily black with spots of brown and tan wear, set against a uniform gray background.
