Cypriot jug, Cypriot Bichrome Ware III, Cypriot—Geometric Period III. Jug on a low, straight foot. Globular body flattened at the bottom. Quite narrow neck with a funnel-shaped spout. Slightly flattened handle attached to the base of the neck and the upper part of the body. Painted decoration in stripes and linear patterns in red-brown and black fading to brown. Near the spout a wide red band with three black lines below, the first adjacent to the red band. At the lower neck, above the handle attachment, a narrow black band; another narrow black band at the base of the neck. The belly bears three identical shooting target motifs on front and sides: a wide red circular band with a black dot and inner circle, surrounded externally by four black-brown circles, the first adjacent to the red band. The handle is unpainted on the vessel side, black on top with light horizontal lines. The foot on the side is black. On the bottom, two concentric circles with a center marked by a dot. Good condition. Origin: Cyprus., A round ceramic vessel with a beige base color and a few bands of dark brown circular and linear painted designs across its surface, showing a central concentric ring pattern on the bottom and diagonal striped bands along the sides, with a small circular darker spot near the center and a few small specks and surface imperfections, and a plain light gray background surrounding the object; visible colors include beige, dark brown, light gray, and a small area of red.
