Cypriot jug, Cypriot pottery, Cypriot Bichrome Ware III. Jug on a low, straight foot. Globular body, flattened at the bottom. Quite narrow neck, funnel-shaped spout. Slightly flattened handle attached to the base of the neck and the upper part of the body. Painted decoration in stripes and linear patterns, in red-brown and black fading to brown. Near the spout is a wide red band, below it three black lines, the first adjacent to the red band. At the lower part of the neck, above the handle attachment, a narrow black band; another narrow black band at the base of the neck. The belly is decorated with three identical shooting target motifs on the front and sides: a wide red circular band with a black dot and a circle in the center, surrounded on the outside by four black-brown circles, the first adjacent to the red band. The handle is unpainted on the vessel side, black on the top, with light horizontal lines. The foot on the side is black. On the bottom, two concentric circles with a center marked with a dot. Good condition. Cypriot—Geometric Period III, Cyprus. Vessel., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow flared neck and a single curved handle connecting the neck to the body is shown against a plain gray background; the vessel has an overall beige-tan base color with darker brown and black painted bands and concentric circle motifs on its sides, a darker brown circular field on the body, black rings encircling the central motif, and additional black horizontal bands on the neck and handle, with areas of surface wear and slight discoloration.
