Miniature skyphos. Reddish clay, black-brown firnis poorly covering the outside on the foot, at the bottom of the body, the outer parts of the handles, the rim and the inside. The zone between the handles is white-ground, black-figure. Palmettes ornament; miniature vessel; white-ground and black-figure pottery., A top-down view of a small two-handled vessel with a rounded body and a central circular base area, showing concentric bands of dark brown and beige on the interior and exterior surfaces; the handles extend horizontally on either side and show worn areas revealing lighter beige beneath a dark brown surface; the central base has a pale, slightly pinkish beige patch with some irregular discoloration and residue; the vessel surface shows chipping and worn spots with exposed lighter clay and traces of white speckling; the background is a uniform medium gray.
