Stele topped with a tympanum, separated from the epigraphic field by moldings. Eleven lines of Greek text preserved, partially damaged, especially on the right and left edges. The text was longer, the lower part of the object is missing. The back side is unworked. Greek honorific inscription with a decree from Perinthus in honor of the tragic actor Athenaios. 300–250 BC, Perinthus, Greek inscription, height 38 cm, width 25.5 cm, thickness 18 cm, weight 16.2 kg, A roughly rectangular stone with rounded edges sits against a plain background; its surface is rough and pitted with an uneven texture showing small depressions and raised areas, and the stone displays a mix of beige, light gray, off-white, and pale brown tones with subtle darker gray shadows in recesses.
