Greek honorific inscription with a decree from Perinthus in honor of the tragic actor Athenaios. 300–250 BC, Perinthus; Greek inscription; height 38 cm, width 25.5 cm, thickness 18 cm, weight 16.2 kg., A roughly rectangular stone slab with irregular, weathered surfaces and rounded edges sits against a flat background; the stone shows a textured, pitted surface with uneven bumps and depressions and a somewhat sloping top edge, displaying a palette of gray, beige, off-white, and light brown tones while the background appears as a uniform medium gray.
