Rectangular stamp seal with a handle in the form of a protruding ridge along the axis of the seal with a crosswise drilled hole. On a rectangular base with rounded corners is a schematic representation of a demon, in human form and with wings instead of arms. Unspecified filler elements are on the sides of the demon. Stamp seal; c. 1650–c. 1350 BC Late Bronze Period. Made in Northwest Syria; found in the Near East. Height 1.7 cm, width 4.2 cm, depth 3.2 cm., A small rounded rectangular object with a dark glossy surface showing carved shallow grooves and raised ridges that form an abstract pattern; the object appears mostly black with a few small pale spots and lighter scuffed areas, and it sits against a plain light gray background.
