Emblem in the form of a figurine of a standing goat or gazelle, unknown Luristan workshop. Figurine of a standing gazelle with slightly bent legs on a ring-shaped base. Through the center of the gazelle's body runs a sleeve-shaped hole, aligned with the hole in the ring; this arrangement of holes allowed the figurine to be mounted on, for example, a wooden handle. The animal's protruding ears contain holes that could have been used for hanging ornaments, e.g., bells. Luristan bronzes; animal figurine; 1st half of the 1st millennium BC, Iron Period II, Iran; place of manufacture: Luristan. Dimensions: height 6.5 cm, width 4.8 cm, depth 1.7 cm., A small sculptural object resembling the rear view of an animal with upright ears, made of a dark metallic material with patches of brownish-bronze highlights; the surface is rough and pitted with an uneven texture, showing a hollow area between elongated hind legs and a rounded rump above; the ears are narrow and upright, and there is a small rounded tail feature; the base is irregular and flat, with the same dark and brownish-bronze coloration against a plain light gray background.
