Rames's funerary cone, funerary cone with 6 impressed columns of hieroglyphic inscription, cartouches, hieroglyphs; maker, ca. 690–664 BC Third Intermediate Period, 25th Dynasty, reign of Taharqa; Western Thebes grave 132; grave goods; cone, weight 0.5 kg., A circular, flat object with a rough, textured surface showing carved linear grooves and shallow incisions arranged in vertical columns, displaying worn pictorial marks and shapes. The object has an overall earthy brown and beige coloration with lighter beige in the recessed carved areas and a darker reddish-brown along the rim and outer edge. The surface appears weathered with small pits and chips and variations in tone, and the background is a smooth neutral gray.
