Set of four disc-shaped beads of different sizes, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop, Al-Jazira Syria/Iraq, Mesopotamia, beads, disc-shaped beads, jewellery, used in children's graves, ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC Early Jazira III period / Early Dynastic III period, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra Northeastern Syria, decoration, A horizontal row of a few round, donut-shaped translucent objects rests against a solid gray background, each object varying in size and texture; the leftmost piece is larger, off-white with pale yellowish and beige mottling and a small central hole, the next pieces are smaller and more translucent with clear to milky white tones and some cloudy inclusions, while the rightmost items are the smallest, showing clear to whitish translucency with faint brownish spots and irregular edges.
