Clay spherical vessel with an ovoid belly widening towards the top, small flat round bottom, short sloping shoulders merging into a low wide neck terminating in a rounded rim formed as a wide, thickened strip on the outside. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra northeastern Mesopotamia, Syria. Height 28 cm; width 28 cm., A large rounded ceramic vessel with a wide rim, showing a weathered surface in shades of beige, cream, light brown, and pale terracotta, with several irregular lighter streaks and faint darker spots; the pot has a matte texture and visible fine cracks and subtle surface blemishes against a solid muted gray background.
