Spherical vessel with an ovoid belly widening towards the top with a small, flat, round bottom, short sloping shoulders merging into a low, wide neck terminating in a rounded rim having the form of a wide, thickened strip on the outside. Clay vessel, vice-free, height 28 cm, width 28 cm. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra, Syria northeastern Mesopotamia., A large rounded clay vessel with a short rim, showing a surface of muted beige and pale tan with areas of light reddish-brown and subtle grayish tones, visible texture and fine cracks across its body, small dark specks and a few tiny pits, set against a uniform dark gray background.
