Vise-less jug, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop; Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Clay vessel: vise-less, bulbous jug with an ovoid belly, flat crookedly cut round bottom, sloping shoulders, a high cylindrical neck terminating in a wide flat spout protruding outwards. Function: vessel. Provenance/archaeological context: Tell Rad Shakra, northeastern Syria Al-Jazira/Khabur basin, Northern Mesopotamia; Early Dynastic III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC., A large rounded vessel with a wide flaring rim, showing a textured surface with patchy wear and subtle scratches; the vessel displays a palette of light beige, cream, tan, and pale brown tones with darker speckling, set against a flat muted gray background.
