Footed bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop. Miniature bowl on a low, conically formed circular foot, flat on the underside. The bowl walls are conical, straightening out at two-thirds of their height, bending gently towards the interior; they terminate in a low, rounded rim that turns outward. Clay vessel, footed bowl. 1st half of the 3rd millennium BC; Early Jazira III period Early Dynastic III; ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC. Tell Rad Shakra North-Eastern Syria, Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin. Height 4.8 cm, width 5.3 cm., A rounded, bowl-shaped vessel with a flared rim and a pedestal base sits against a plain background; the surface shows a mottled, weathered texture with tones of beige, tan, light brown, and hints of off-white, and there are a few darker speckles and irregular patches across the exterior.
