Spherical vessel, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop; clay; Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III; spherical vessel with an egg-shaped belly with a rounded bottom and a low cylindrical neck ending with a thickened rim turned outwards; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin; Tell Rad Shakra North-Eastern Syria, Syria; height 7.8 cm, width 6.5 cm., A rounded, worn ceramic vessel with a narrow flared rim is centered against a solid background; the surface of the vessel shows an uneven, mottled texture with patches of light beige, pale cream, and muted brown, and areas of rough, flaky encrustation and worn, pitted spots are visible across its curved body.
