Globular vessel with a narrow neck the upper part of the neck and the spout are not preserved. Thickened circular base. Clay; vessels for oils and ointments; vice-free vessels. Origin: Al-Jazira Khabur basin, Northern Mesopotamia; Tell Rad Shakra, Syria. Height 11.3 cm; width 10.45 cm., A round, weathered ceramic vessel with a rough, pitted surface in pale beige and light tan tones sits against a muted gray background; the vessel has an irregular, flared opening with a scalloped rim showing darker beige shadows, and the body displays subtle reddish-brown speckling, small dark pits, and a few hairline cracks.
