Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop, clay, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period. Tableware bowl with a flat, slightly oblique, oval bottom with traces of being cut off with a string, gently tilted walls which straighten out and bend slightly inwards in the upper part of the vessel, straight rim. Origin: Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra Northeastern Syria., A simple rounded vessel with a smooth matte surface fills the frame against a solid dark gray background, showing a pale creamy beige color with subtle variations into light tan and faint gray tones; the rim appears slightly darker with a hint of warm peach, and the body displays small darker speckles, fine horizontal striations, and a few shallow pits and scratches that create gentle surface texture.
