Bowl, unknown Northern Mesopotamian workshop; clay; Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC / Early Dynastic III period. Tableware vessel with a flat, slightly oblique oval bottom with traces of being cut off with a string, gently tilted walls that straighten and bend slightly inwards in the upper part, and a straight, undifferentiated rim. Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra Northeastern Syria., A rounded bowl with a smooth, matte surface in shades of beige and light tan set against a solid dark gray background; the bowl shows subtle horizontal striations, fine surface speckles, and a few shallow scratches and hairline cracks, with slight variations in tone creating areas of warmer cream and cooler gray-beige.
