Bowl, unknown northern Mesopotamian workshop, Early Jazira III period ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC Early Dynastic III period, clay bowl, egg-shaped with rounded bottom and a straight, non-separated rim slightly bent inwards; ca. 2600–ca. 2350 BC; Northern Mesopotamia Khabur basin, Tell Rad Shakra, Syria; vessel; height 7.8 cm, width 10.7 cm., A roughly spherical object fills most of the image, showing a textured, worn surface in beige and light tan with a mottling of darker brown spots and smudges; there is a small area of blue and red pigment visible on the surface. The background is a flat muted gray-blue.
