Necklace with eight amphorae and a crescent, Necklace of gold with crescents ornament, goldsmithing. The necklace consists of eight gold amphorae; the surface between the bodies and the necks of the amphorae is filled with white enamel. Each amphora is attached to a fluted tube. Two gold beads are placed between the amphorae. At the ends of the necklace are 10 beads on one side and 11 beads on the other. In the center hangs a flat crescent moon, facing downwards, made of a more reddish gold. Dated to the 3rd century BC possibly late 4th–3rd century BC, probably Greece. Jewelry; weight 12 g., A necklace displayed against a light gray background, composed of a strand with a group of small round beads along each side in brown tones, interspersed with a series of irregular triangular pendants in a metallic gold color, and a central crescent-shaped pendant in a darker bronze-brown hue; the gold triangular pieces hang downward and show uneven, textured surfaces, while the beads are smooth and spaced between the triangular elements, and the ends of the strand have frayed light-colored fibers.
