Arched fibula, one-piece ad arco semplice fibula with an arched bow made of a round bronze bar, decorated with groups of circumferential notches. A 1.5-turn loop at the transition from the bow to the pin. Sheath damaged. 9th–8th century BC. Southern Italy, possibly Cumae. Height 3.2 cm, width 4.2 cm., A roughly semicircular metallic object with a textured, ribbed surface and a patina showing green and brown tones, attached on one end to a rounded loop and on the other to an irregular, slightly flattened mount; a thin, straight rod extends between the loop and the mount. The background is a flat, uniform gray.
