Vessel. A small wheel-made clay vessel with an almost hemispherical belly that transforms halfway up into clearly defined shoulders and a rounded bottom. Short neck tapering toward the top with an upturned rim. Interior smoothed; exterior smoothed and covered with an orange engobe. Decoration: four horizontal bands—two on the lower neck and two on the body. Vessel complete, slightly eroded, especially on the neck. Material: marl clay type MA4? according to Vienna System. Function: tableware. Painted pottery, Egyptian ceramics. Early 18th Dynasty?, ca. 1550–1295 BC New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty. Height 7 cm; width 7.5 cm; rim diameter 5.1 cm; weight 0.12 kg., A single terracotta vessel with a rounded body, a narrowed neck, and a flared rim sits on a clear cylindrical stand; the surface shows a coarse, textured finish with a few thin darker bands encircling the neck and upper body, and the visible colors include shades of orange, reddish-brown, darker brown in the bands, and neutral gray from the background and the clear stand.
