Female votive head. Female head in a wreath, slightly tilted to the right shoulder. Under the wreath are visible regularly arranged locks of hair, framing a low, triangular forehead and temples. Ears are exposed. Deep-set eyes, almost flat in the elaborately worked eyelids, small nose, small mouth with fleshy lips, short, strongly defined chin, full cheeks. 3rd century BC, Etruria. Votive. Height 26 cm, width 16.5 cm, depth 13.5 cm, weight 2.1 kg., A profile view of a terracotta-colored sculpted head with a textured surface and worn edges, showing the contour of a forehead, nose, lips, chin, and a stylized ear, set against a smooth light gray background with tones of brown, beige, and muted gray.
