Female votive head, Female head in a wreath, slightly tilted to the right shoulder. Under the wreath are visible regularly arranged locks of hair, framing a low, triangular forehead and temples. Ears exposed. Deep-set eyes, almost flat in the elaborately worked eyelids; small nose; small mouth with fleshy lips; short, strongly defined chin; full cheeks. 3rd century BC, Etruria; votive. Height 26 cm, width 16.5 cm, depth 13.5 cm, weight 2.1 kg., A profile view of a sculpted head in muted brown and tan tones, showing a smooth forehead, defined nose, lips, and chin, with textured curly hair along the side and back of the head; the surface has small mottled speckles and rough patches, and the base of the neck is visible, all set against a flat gray background.
