Female votive head, Female head with long, straight hair falling to the shoulders. Neck partially preserved. Elongated face with a receding forehead characterized by wide-open eyes set shallowly under prominent eyebrow arches. Mouth slightly open with fleshy lips, chin protruding forward, and full cheeks. 2nd century BC, Etruria, votive. Height 20 cm, width 12 cm, depth 8.5 cm, weight 0.94 kg., A carved stone fragment showing a profile of a human face viewed from the side with closed eye, a prominent nose, and full lips, attached to a larger irregular base; long textured hair with vertical grooves falls down the back of the head. The object displays a range of browns and grayish-browns with some darker and lighter mottling, and the background is a pale gray.
