Vessel with a conical shape and a pointed bottom. Straight, tapering rim. Made on the wheel of Nile clay type NB2 Vienna System classification. Bottom and outer surface worked with a hard tool; surface even. Light brown color. Fairly well preserved, minor damage on the rim. c. 1550–c. 1069 BC, New Kingdom, Deir el-Medina. Vessel, height 20.8 cm, diameter 7 cm lip, diameter 9 cm body., A single tall, rounded clay vessel occupies the image, shown from top to bottom against a neutral gray background; the vessel has a rough, textured surface with visible horizontal striations and small pits, an uneven rim with a small chipped area, and an overall matte finish; the dominant color of the vessel is earthy brown with subtle variations of lighter and darker brown and occasional tiny pale flecks, while the background is a flat gray.
