Vessel with an ovoid belly, a wide short neck and a rounded bottom. Straight, upturned rim. Wheel-made from Nile clay of type NB2 Vienna System. Surface levelled and outer surface covered with engobe. Outer surface red; inner surface yellowish-brown. Firing hole at the widest circumference, approx. 1 cm diameter. Well-preserved. ca. 1550–1295 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty; from Deir el-Medina. Vessel; height 27 cm, rim diameter 11 cm, body diameter 20.5 cm., A rounded, bowl-like object with a textured, worn surface in shades of terracotta and light brown sits against a flat gray background; the object shows areas of darker brown patches and small dark speckles, subtle circular marks and scratches, and a few smudged, slightly reddish areas.
