Vessel, Egyptian ceramic vessel with an ovoid belly, a wide short neck and a rounded bottom; straight, upturned rim. Wheel-made from Nile clay of type NB2 Vienna System. Surface levelled and outer surface covered with engobe. Outer surface red, inner surface yellowish-brown. Firing hole at widest circumference approx. 1 cm diameter. Well-preserved. Date approx. 1550–1295 BC; New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty. From Deir el-Medina. Vessel height 27 cm; rim diameter 11 cm; body diameter 20.5 cm., A rounded clay vessel with a narrow neck and flared rim fills the image, showing a textured surface with visible scratches and imperfections; the vessel is primarily terracotta and earthy orange with areas of lighter beige and dusty white, and there is a small irregular hole on one side; the background is a uniform light gray.
