Vessel with hieratic inscription; ceramics, Egyptian clay Nile clay NB2, Vienna System. Conical vessel tapering towards the bottom, irregular, widest approx. 3/4 of the height. Narrow, slightly sloping shoulders; short, wide neck; very gently rounded, slightly flaring rim; pointed bottom. Handcrafted; upper part shoulders, neck, rim turned. Surface leveled. Remains of a hieratic inscription in black on lower part of the belly. Quite well preserved with slight damage to the rim. Old Kingdom, ca. 2686–2181 BC.
