Red-figure oinochoe, Oinochoe with a flat foot separated by a ring, an oval belly, and sloping shoulders; wide tripartite rim; smooth ribbon-like handle. Reddish clay with black glossy varnish. Decoration: on the front of the belly, in a metopic field framed at top by a wave ornament and at bottom by a row of dots and lines — a woman's head in left profile wearing a cap sakkos with curly hair protruding above the ears and a long bun of curls at the back tied with a taenia; a diadem on the cap. On either side of the head are two half-palmettes both pointing same direction; on the right side a spirally coiled tendril; two rosettes in the upper corners. Rosettes, necklace, taenia, earrings, and elements of the diadem painted in white. Good condition. Late 4th century BC, Southern Italy., A black ceramic pitcher with a handle and a flared, scalloped rim standing against a gray background, the body showing a painted panel in a tan or light brown color with decorative swirls and the partial profile of a face adorned with a crown of small dots, some lighter beige highlights on the decoration, and a narrow brownish rim at the base.
