Vessel, Beer jug of a slightly irregular, conical shape with a wide, very short neck and a flat bottom. Flat, straight rim. Wheel-made from Nile clay of type NB2-ND Vienna System. Bottom cut off with string, with clear potter's fingerprints around the bottom. Surface even. Clay color: red. Vessel complete, fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the rim and small chips on the surface. ca. 1550–1069 BC New Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 24.4 cm; rim diameter 9.8 cm; body diameter 16.3 cm; bottom diameter 8.5 cm., A round clay vessel viewed from above with a dark empty interior, showing a rough rim and textured exterior in shades of brown, tan, and beige against a smooth light gray background.
