Vessel. Beer jug of slightly irregular, conical shape with a wide, very short neck and flat bottom. Flat, straight rim. Wheel-made from Nile clay of type NB2-ND Vienna System. Bottom cut off with string, with clear potter's fingerprints around the bottom. Surface even. Clay color: red. Vessel complete, fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the rim and small chips on the surface. Ca. 1550–1069 BC New Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel; height 24.4 cm; rim diameter 9.8 cm; body diameter 16.3 cm; bottom diameter 8.5 cm., An aged, rounded clay vessel occupies the image, showing a textured surface with visible horizontal striations and irregularities; its colors include shades of brown, tan, beige, and hints of gray with small patches of lighter white residue; the rim is slightly uneven and the body tapers toward a rough, eroded base with cracks and pitted areas, and the background is a flat, muted gray.
