Vessel, Beer jug of a slightly irregular, conical shape with a wide, very short neck and a flat bottom. Flat, straight rim. Wheel-made from Nile clay of type NB2-ND Vienna System. Bottom cut off with string; clear potter's fingerprints around the bottom. Surface even. Clay color red. Vessel complete, fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the rim and small chips on the surface. ca. 1550–1069 BC; New Kingdom, Edfu. Vessel. Height 24.4 cm; rim diameter 9.8 cm; body diameter 16.3 cm; bottom diameter 8.5 cm., A rounded, slightly irregular clay vessel with a narrow base and a wider shoulder is shown against a plain background; the vessel has a rough, textured surface with visible tool marks, small pits, and areas of surface abrasion, and its color palette includes shades of terracotta, light brown, pale beige, and hints of gray.
