Vessel, Beer jug of a slightly irregular, conical shape with a wide, very short neck and a flat bottom. Flat, narrow shoulders and a gently rounded, straight rim. Wheel-made of Nile clay type NB2 Vienna System. The bottom is cut off with string and bears clear potter's fingerprints, flaring slightly at its lowest part. Surface even; color red. The vessel is complete and fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the bottom. New Kingdom, ca. 1550–1069 BC. Dimensions: height 24 cm; rim diameter 10 cm; body diameter 16 cm; bottom diameter 9.2 cm., A large, rounded clay vessel with a narrow, slightly flared rim and a rough, textured surface in shades of tan, light brown, and muted gray, showing small pits and irregularities and a few darker specks, photographed against a smooth light gray background.
