Vessel, Beer jug of a slightly irregular, conical shape with a wide, very short neck and a flat bottom. Flat, narrow shoulders and a gently rounded, straight rim. Wheel-made of Nile clay type NB2 Vienna System. Bottom is cut off with string and bears clear potter's fingerprints, flaring slightly in its lowest part. Surface even; color red. Complete and fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the bottom. New Kingdom, ca. 1550–1069 BC; Edfu. Dimensions: height 24 cm; rim dia. 10 cm; body dia. 16 cm; bottom dia. 9.2 cm., A large rounded clay vessel with a narrow flattened rim and a tapered base, showing an uneven textured surface with small pits and abrasions; the vessel displays a range of earthy colors including terracotta, light brown, pale orange, and hints of gray, with subtle horizontal striations and a few rough patches and marks.
