Vessel, beer jug of slightly irregular conical shape with a wide, very short neck and flat bottom; flat, narrow shoulders and gently rounded, straight rim. Wheel-made of Nile clay type NB2 Vienna System. Bottom cut off with string and bears clear potter's fingerprints, flaring slightly at its lowest part. Surface even; red color. Complete and fairly well preserved, with minor damage to the bottom. New Kingdom, ca. 1550–1069 BC; from Edfu. Dimensions: height 24 cm; rim diameter 10 cm; body diameter 16 cm; bottom diameter 9.2 cm., A single large rounded earthenware vessel with a narrow flat rim, showing a rough textured surface in shades of terracotta and beige with subtle variations and mottling, set against a uniform neutral gray background.
