Bowl, A conical clay bowl with a ring-shaped bottom, wheel-made from Nile clay type NB2, Vienna System. Walls even, covered with red engobe; inner surface polished. Rim straight, slightly curled inward; bottom wheel-modeled. A black painted band ~1 cm wide on both the inside and outside of the rim. Vessel color red. Preservation: quite good, minor losses on the rim and minor surface damage. Comparative: New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty ca. 1550–1295 BC, Deir el-Medina; vessel height 5.5 cm, rim diameter 16.4 cm, bottom diameter 3.6 cm., A shallow, round ceramic bowl viewed from the side with an uneven rim and a small foot at the base; the bowl surface shows a worn, rough texture with chips and patches of abrasion. The visible colors are reddish-brown on the main body, darker brown and black along the rim, and small areas of pale off-white residue. The background is a smooth light gray.
