Bowl, Bowl with a conical shape and a ring-shaped foot. Straight rim, slightly flaring outward, irregular. Vessel made entirely on the wheel of Nile clay type ND Vienna System. Surface even, covered with glaze before firing. On the inner and outer surfaces of the rim there is a narrow approx. 0.5 cm black band of decoration. The remainder of the vessel is red. Traces of polish on the surface. The glaze is slightly worn in places—possible traces of use. Good condition—minor clay chips on the rim, abrasions over the entire surface. Analogies: Egypt's Golden Age no. 51, p. 78, ca. 1550–ca. 1425 BC; New Kingdom, early 18th Dynasty. Possible findplaces: Edfu, Deir el-Medina. Vessel; height 5.3 cm; diameter 15.1 cm rim; diameter 3.1 cm bottom., A shallow, wide bowl viewed from the side with a rounded rim and tapered base, showing a weathered surface in shades of reddish-brown and dark brown along the rim, with small areas of lighter beige and gray wear, subtle horizontal striations on the exterior, and a plain neutral gray background.
