Made of not-well-worked Nile clay with numerous organic inclusions and limestone particles visible on the surface. Carelessly made with uneven depressions, especially at the bottom; brown in color; cracks on the surface due to workmanship and firing. Ceramic vessel, clay; Old Kingdom, ca. 2686–ca. 2181 BC; Edfu. Height 37.9 cm; diameter 11.4 cm rim, 12.5 cm body., An elongated cylindrical clay object with an uneven, rough surface showing a mix of reddish-brown, tan, gray, and faint darker brown tones, pitted and marked with small holes, cracks, and irregular indentations across its surface, with a slightly flattened top rim and a rounded bottom, photographed against a plain light gray background.
