Bowl, Deep, cup-shaped clay bowl with a slightly convex bottom and sides arching upwards; straight, flat-top, flaring rim. Made of Nile clay NB1 ?. Covered with an engobe mixed with red ochre and thoroughly polished; vessel color red. Well-preserved with slight damage to the rim. Height 13.8 cm; rim diameter 28.8 cm; bottom diameter 11.9 cm. Comparable parallels attributed to Dyns. IV–VI and late VI Old Kingdom, ca. 2686–2181 BC., A single shallow vessel with a wide flaring rim and a narrower base, shown against a plain gray background; the vessel has an earthy reddish-brown color with patches of darker and lighter brown and some subtle surface texture and wear.
