Made of Nile clay in two parts joined about one-third of the vessel's height. Even surface; beige color; complete. Comparative dating: ca. 2686–2181 BC, Old Kingdom, Edfu. Dimensions: height 35.5 cm; rim diameter 10.2 cm; body diameter 22.2 cm. References to typology: Reisner, type V–XI,7 and XV–XVI., A round clay vessel viewed from above with a dark central opening, the vessel showing a textured surface in shades of brown, tan, gray, and muted ochre with slight variations and speckling, set against a smooth light gray background.
